Michael Welborn
Pastor
Dr. Michael Welborn serves as Pastor for the Pelham Church of God. Pastor Michael has served the Church of God in local, state, and international ministries in various pastoral, musical, and educational positions in Virginia, South Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for Lee University’s Division of Adult Learning, teaching online classes in music and worship. He also serves as the Chairman of the State Music Board for the Church of God in Alabama. Michael and Tena have been married for forty-one years and have two children and four grandchildren.
Tena Welborn
Ladies Pastor
Tena Welborn leads the Ladies Ministries of Pelham Church of God, along with pastoral responsibilities with her husband, Dr. Michael Welborn, at Pelham Church of God. Tena also serves as the Finance Director/State Treasurer for the Church of God in Alabama. Tena is very nurturing, has the heart to serve, and is gifted in administration and executive leadership. Together with her husband, Michael, she has served the Church of God in local, state, and international ministries in various pastoral, musical, and administrative positions. Tena and Michael have been married for forty-one years and have two children and four grandchildren.
Bekah thompson
Worship Pastor
Bekah Thompson leads as the Worship Pastor of Pelham Church of God. She earned a Bachelors of Music in Music and Worship from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. Called to Music Ministry at a young age, Bekah served in various roles of leadership including: LeeU Worship, Ladies of Lee, Hilltop Worship and the Music and Worship Club at Lee. She enjoys spending time with her husband Nate, family, and friends.

Nate Thompson serves as the Creative Arts Pastor over the Audio/Visual Media at Pelham Church of God. With over 15 years of experience in Music Ministry, he has developed a passion for excellence in all media types. He is married to Bekah Thompson, worship pastor, and has a heart for creating a multi-generational culture of worship.
