Emily Edwards

Children's Pastor

Emily serves as the Children's Pastor at Pelham Church of God.
Growing up as a pastor's daughter is a blessing in disguise. You get to see and help in every aspect of the church. My mom was the children's pastor at our church and from a young age I realized I loved kids. When I was in high school it struck a passion in me for teaching kids about God. From there I decided I wanted to do something more. That more for me was picking up and moving to Alabama from Texas to go to Highlands College. I received my Associates in Christian Ministry accredited through Southeastern University as well as a certificate from Highlands College with a concentration in children's ministry. From there I interned at the main Highlands campus. Through these experiences my love for kids and my passion for teaching them God's word has grown tremendously.
